The Thousand Mountain Inn offers well priced holiday accommodation in Hakuba. We take group bookings only to a maximum of 12 guests. The lodge has 6 bedrooms offering loads of flexibility to set up for single, twin share or queen beds. All rooms are traditional tatami style.
It’s a fantastic option for one or two families to share, offering spacious rooms for mum and dad and 4 rooms for all the kids to spread out. Perfect also for a group booking of up to 12. You can all go solo in your own rooms as a group up to 6, or share to our full capacity of 12. A fun option if you are looking to have all your crew under one roof.
The amenities are japanese style, which is minimalistic offering two toilets and one open communal wash room with a bath and two showers. However, 300m away is one of Hakuba’s best Onsen’s (Japanese mineral spring bath house), just a few minutes walk. We have washing/drying facilities and of course Wifi. There’s also a spacious drying room and ski storage area.
There’s space to relax out of your bedrooms, with a nice tatami lounge or the sunroom area.
Thousand Mountain Inn is a B&B serving continental buffet breakfast. There are loads of great dining options in the Hakuba valley, however if you want to stay home and relax, you can order in with a range of options from Pizza to Sushi.
The property is positioned mid valley with stunning views of the majestic Japanese Alps. We are 1,5km to Happo One resort and well centered between the villages of Echoland, Happo and Hakuba, each being 10-15min walk away. Transportation wise, we cover all daily resort drop offs and pickups and we are close to valley loop bus stops and resorts shuttles. Taxis are and easy option also for evening transportion.
For the best on snow experience, we suggest combining your accommodation with a Hakuba Powder Tours guided package where you’ll be driven daily to resorts and guided into the best riding the valley has on offer!
